SMS & WhatsApp Consent

This SMS and WhatsApp Consent Notice ("Notice") explains the text-message program operated by Prestige Event Group through the Venuara platform. It describes what messages you can expect to receive, how to stop receiving them, and how we comply with the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable carrier rules.

Note: This notice is a draft prepared by the product team. It is TCPA-oriented but has not yet been reviewed by an attorney. Final language should be cross-checked against our Twilio 10DLC campaign registration before launch.

1. Program Overview

When you provide your phone number through an inquiry form, tour request, questionnaire, or the client portal, you may receive transactional and operational messages from Prestige Event Group related to the event you are planning or attending. Messages are sent through Twilio.

Depending on the contact method you select, messages may be delivered by SMS, MMS, or WhatsApp. The content and scope of the program are the same across channels.

2. Your Express Consent

By providing your phone number and selecting SMS or WhatsApp as a contact method, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Prestige Event Group at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out at any time (see Section 5).

We will only use your phone number for the purposes described in this Notice and in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Types of Messages You May Receive

  • Inquiry follow-ups — replies from our team after you submit a contact or tour-request form.
  • Tour reminders — confirmation and reminder messages before a scheduled venue tour.
  • Quote and contract updates — notifications when a proposal, contract, or signature request is ready for your review.
  • Payment notifications — payment due, payment received, and payment reminder messages tied to your event.
  • Event coordination — logistical messages from your venue contact leading up to, during, and after your event (including post-event feedback requests).
  • Account and security — portal access codes, identity verification, and account-related notices.

We do not send bulk promotional or marketing blasts through this program. If that changes in the future, we will obtain separate express written consent before sending any such messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on where you are in the planning process. A typical lead or booked client should expect up to approximately 10 messages per month, with higher volume during the weeks immediately before an event. You will not receive messages on a fixed schedule.

5. Opt-Out and Help Instructions

You can stop receiving messages at any time.

  • SMS / MMS: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that number.
  • SMS / MMS help: Reply HELP to any message to receive contact information and a short description of the program.
  • WhatsApp: Reply STOPto unsubscribe, or use the WhatsApp "Block" feature on the conversation. Reply HELP for contact information.
  • Email: You may also contact privacy@venuara.com and request that we remove your phone number from the messaging program.

After you opt out, we will still contact you by email or phone call about time-sensitive matters related to an existing event contract if we have no other way to reach you. To stop all communications, please contact us directly.

6. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your wireless plan and your mobile carrier. Prestige Event Group is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier for sending or receiving text messages.

Message delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their affiliates, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Actual message delivery and quality depend on your carrier, your device, your signal, and the messaging network.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or an authorized user of the phone number you provide. By providing your phone number, you represent that you have the authority to consent to receive messages at that number.

8. Privacy

Our handling of phone numbers, message content, and delivery metadata is described in our Privacy Policy. Messages sent through this program are transmitted by Twilio, which processes phone numbers, message content, and delivery status on our behalf.

10. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued participation in the messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Notice.
